I’m Home!

Actually, I’ve been home for about a week now, and I must tell you it feels great. I hate that I no longer have any more Spring Breaks to go and do crazy stuff on, but I love that my last one was at home 650 miles AWAY from school.

So, I’ll start at the beginning. I stayed at Grandma’s house Thursday and Friday of last week with two girls from school who also needed rides to the Philly area. Friday morning I helped to see the Boaz Team off on their annual Spring Break trip to Russia that Laurie was on. That was good to see them. Right now, they are probably sleeping before having to fly home in a few hours.

Saturday was the all day drive but ended with some great game-playing at Greg and Ashley’s (new NLCC College and Career guy).

Sunday I spent with the family, saw Michelle play drums in church, and went to my own church to say hi to people I had not seen in a while.

Monday I took off. It felt sooooo good to not have to worry about anything. I worked on my server and watched a few movies before ending the night at Bebo’s house for a small LAN party of Unreal Tournament ‘99.

Tuesday I started the week at Adcock’s. They needed some minor wiring run and a few laptops set up for them. It was good to see everyone and talk a little bit about projects for the summer. Also went to Bebo’s that night for some more LANage.

Wednesday was basically the same day as Tuesday, but I got to see Grandma and Pam after I got home which was fun. Oh, and I should mention here that I’ve started a journal. It’s basically a start to help me get some things out that just keep stewing in my brain. I figure why not write them down and read them later to remember some of my thoughts and feelings. Life just needs to be less complicated right now too. Sheesh.

Thursday I went to Adcock’s again, but finished the day off at Calloway’s. It was a great time to meet some new people and hang out with old friends. I love their wings.

Friday I again took off to have a chill day. It was great to sleep in to 11 again. Say goodbye to that for a while. I worked on some computer stuff again and then went to J’s house for dinner and a re-install of his Windows system. Then, I went to meet up with Ty and Ally. Ally has lived in the Philly area for almost ever, and they are both Taylor students and friends of mine. I stayed over at her house with Ty and we played euchre and watched some amazing NEW Brian Regan. Totally worth it.

Today, and where my story finally ends, was the greatest day so far I think. We started off by getting up at 7AM to go to Rice’s flee market. It is probably one of the cheapest and coolest flee markets you will ever visit. Then, after a few hours of finding great deals there, the lot of us (Ty, Ally, Ally’s dad, and Melissa, Ally’s sister), we went to the Farmer’s Market where the Amish set up shops and sell AMAZING food. I had the greatest pretzel there that was so great it basically melted in your mouth. Then, I came back to my area and went to lunch with Joe, Allan, Igor, Johnny, and Jason (a new one) at the Sushi place. So good to have sushi again.

And now, I’m home. Tonight is another game night at Greg’s and tomorrow I go back to school :(

But, thanks for reading. Update you when I can.
