Back in Business with a Different Style

I’m not sure where to start, so I’ll start at the beginning.
If you’ve checked this in the last few months, you know the site’s been down. Mostly my fault. Wait, what am I saying? It’s all my fault. And Ubuntu’s. It’s my and Ubuntu’s fault. Oh wait. You don’t know what Ubuntu is? Yea, that’s gotta change.
Remember Windows? Of course you do. Life revolves around it. Well, this is better (unless your a gamer, and I’ll get to you in a later post). Okay, well to make this shorter than you need to hear right now (don’t worry, there’ll be a post on it later), Ubuntu is a Linux Distribution based on the idea that a desktop Operating System (like Windows) should not only be easy, but free to use.
Anyway, as I was saying, my server has been down for a couple months now. The reason being I was migrating server hardware. The server used to run on a P4 with 2.8GHz, 1GB RAM, and 40GB of space. Well, it’s taken quite a hit. It now runs on a P3 1GHz, with 384MB RAM, and 40GB of space. But, the P4 computer I freed up to do it now runs Ubuntu Feisty Fawn 7.04 with Compiz/Beryl effects and some added tweaks to make it look like Mac’s OS X skin. In fact, I even upgraded the video card in it to a Radeon 9200 AGP 128MB RAM to handle the Compiz/Beryl effects (another post that will come later).
So, the server is back up and I’ve decided to head a new direction. Instead of create a website, template it and add pages, I’m going with the Wordpress approach. That is, the blog I’m currently writing on. So, from here I’ll upload images, posts, reviews, etc. It’s a really efficient way of getting it done, and the template I have is pretty cool here. So, enjoy the postings, images, et al. There’ll be more to come…
